Today I am happy to update this amazing collection of Low Carb Feta Cheese Recipes! And if you’re a regular reader of my blog, you must have noticed how much I love the creamy, tangy flavor of Feta! I have indeed my favorite feta cheesebut really I don’t think I’ve ever had a brand of Feta that I didn’t like!
In fact, Feta is a product that I have loved for so long that I first made it one of my Kalyn’s Kitchen Picks many years ago. And of course, I’ve been using it in new recipes since then, so this post has 36 amazing recipes that use Feta cheese!

My blog contains a lot of Feta salads, so for this article, I’m focusing on Feta cheese dinners, lunches, appetizers, side dishes, or breakfast ideas. And each of these favorite recipes is one that I have loved and made over and over again. If you’re also a big Feta fan, this should be enough recipes to help you get your regular Feta fix, and I hope you enjoy trying some of the recipes!
What is Feta Cheese?
If you are unfamiliar with Feta, Wikipedia has a good description of this type of Greek cheese. It is an essential ingredient in Greek saladone of my favorite dishes of all time.
Can feta cheese be kept in the fridge?
I don’t buy pre-crumbled Feta, because that type doesn’t keep well. I buy blocks of Feta at Costco, where Kirkland Organic Feta is my preferred. I have a definite preference for sheep’s milk Feta, but every type of block Feta cheese I’ve had from Costco has been good. Granted, I might not be able to store a big block of Feta if I didn’t have the FoodSaver Vacuum Sealer (affiliate link), which vacuum packs cheese so it stays well in the fridge for months and months.
Is feta cheese low carb?
Most Feta cheeses contain less than one carb per serving, which definitely makes me love it even more! Check your packaging, some brands may differ, but I’m sure every brand of Feta will be very low carb.
